We are committed to protecting your privacy whilst providing you with a personalized and valuable service. We do everything we can to keep your information secure and use it only for the purposes you intend. Personal information means any information that may be used to identify
an individual

Any information we collect is purely to enable us to carry out our services
for you.  We never share any information with other parties. We only collect personal information by lawful and fair means, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

When inquiring about our services or booking an appointment with us we
ask for the following information:

• Name

• Address

• Telephone number

• Home and mobile, work number if relevant

• Email
• Address 

• Any details on how to find your property
• Parking instructions.

We do not ‘cold call’ or canvas for customers or use any purchased lists, therefore all information has been given to us freely by the customer.

The Way We Use Information
This information is used to enable us to book appointments for you, for our operatives to find and to enable us to keep in touch with you. We send appointment reminders to our customers after 6 months and then yearly.
If you are an establishment or business we will remind you yearly of our services. We collect and use information solely to fulfil our services and stay in contact with you.

Our Commitment To Data Security

We protect personal information with security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We do not store credit or debit card details, these are shredded immediately after use.

Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy
We do not collect data regarding children.  In the event of a young person over the age of 16 being the person responsible to allow our Operative in to your home, we do not collect or store any data relating to them.  We do not book appointments where a person under the age of 16 would be the only person home on our arrival.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
As all information is stored securely it is not accessible for you to view online.  Should you wish to know what information we have for yourself please call our office or email us.
To protect our customers we would need to confirm your identity before releasing any information to ensure your security.

Removing Your Data
Should you wish us to no longer contact you please call our office or email us. Should you wish to ensure all information is completely removed please call our office or email us.

Direct Marketing
Any direct marketing is done no more than once a year, with the exception of the initial 6 month reminders sent out to existing customers via email, text or post.
We do not canvas for new domestic customers via any methods.
We only market to individuals who have provided us with their email address, however, if you receive any information about our services and no longer wish to hear from us please reply to our email stating so.

Records Management
All customer information is stored on our database which is securely
accessed, monitored and managed. Paper records, such as invoices, are filed and stored in our office. After 7 years all paper files are commercially shredded on site. Our business carries out periodic checks on records security and there is monitoring of compliance with records management procedures.

Information Standards
Our business endeavours to ensure that the personal data collected is accurate, adequate, relevant and not excessive.  We carry out regular reviews to remove any personal data or records that are out of date or no longer relevant.

Transfer of Records
We do not transfer or share our records or data with any other parties.
